We get a puzzle every Christmas for the family to work on over holidays. This year I bought this one for my husband the civil war buff, but everyone enjoyed working on it. The smaller boxes around the edge, the words, & odd/large shaped pieces made it fun to do.

Great gift for the American History Buff
we loved putting this puzzle together and it proved educational with the grandkids jumping in and asking grandpa lots of questions. By the end, they thought he must have been there. What fun!

A great puzzle for Civil War buffs
My wife bought me this puzzle to work on while recovering from surgery. It was a lot of fun to put together; challenging, but not frustrating. We are pretty well educated on Civil War history and that helps move the project along. The graphics are bright and sharp, the pieces well defined with excellent fit. The finished puzzle has a wealth of interesting history as well as beautiful art.

Civil War Puzzle
We first purchased this puzzle in 1996, as I recall, at the Yorktown carrier memorial in Charlestown, SC, and loved it but over the years lost pieces. Never found it again until this past weekend in June, 2012, at the Antietam Battlefield, and I grabbed it. I looked up the website and purchased another 5 puzzles of related themes. The Civil War Puzzle was outstandingly educational and such a pleasure to assemble that Ill begin it again soon, like a favorite novel you read over again. Such an innovative approach. A 5 star recommendation.
