I have purchased other puzzles with images of marbles, which, for some reason, ended up being easier to assemble than I had expected they would be. I found this puzzle to be both challenging to do, and quite beautiful when finished. It required some thought beyond that demanded by the kind of puzzle that could be done as a mere pastime. It was interesting to assemble. Compared to other jigsaw puzzles depicting marbles, this one has brighter colors, and many of the marbles in it are multi-colored as well. This is a large puzzle with almost twice the number of pieces of the other jigsaw puzzle of marbles which I recently completed. The pieces were smaller in this one, regularly shaped, and interlocked nicely. Finishing this puzzle definitly requires a committment, but it offers great entertainment value for the price. An anti-glare surface texture would have been nice; as it is, good lighting is essential, as ones eyes can tire easily on this one, which may slow down ones usual pace, but I was determined to finish it, and feel as if, in jigsaw puzzle terms, it was an accomplishment to succeed at that.
